British furniture designer-maker Ercol used INTERIORS UK as the platform for showcasing its latest designs alongside some well-loved pieces.
One of the new ranges launched was the Arbor dining collection (pictured above), which is designed to appeal to those who favour a classic feel in their home. These pieces are made in solid oak using time-honoured construction techniques of mortise and tenon joints, dovetail joints and pegs, all finished with an aged-look matt lacquer. The collection offers a medium and large extending dining table, a ladder-back or upholstered dining chair, two and three-door sideboards and tops, a nine-drawer chest, TV unit, plus console, lamp and coffee tables.
Ercol also provided key pieces for other areas around the show, including the fabric pavilion, which featured a Riva Sofa and 203 Windsor chairs; the contract area features a splash of colour with stacking Butterfly chairs on display in various colours. There was also a Chiltern nest of tables in the entrance hall.
Ercol is much celebrated for its exquisite design and skilled craftsmanship and continues to champion British furniture design with a focus on innovation, quality and ultimate style.
