Retailer Bo Concept has teamed up with top designer Karim Rashid to put together a stylish new collection of dining furniture and home accessories.
The new ‘Ottowa’ range is named so because Rashid lived in Canada from the age of seven.
Rashid has literally put his own stamp on some of the products – the Ottowa rug features a huge monochrome pattern based on his fingerprint.
The collection includes chic tables, sideboards, chairs, cups, lamps, bowls and vases. The Ottowa vases are curved and shaped like jigsaw pieces, so they slot together neatly in a row – or they look equally chic as stand-alone ornaments.
The new Ottowa cups all feature designs inspired by different eras in Karim Rashid’s life, including sketches he produced at university and even tattoos he has had on his body (each done in different cities around the world, reflecting how he feels about each place).
The Ottowa range is available from Bo Concept from March.
