Trend Forecasts at INTERIORS UK 2012
INTERIORS UK teamed up with Global Color Research™ and digital wall covering brand Tektura, and invited innovative students from the Birmingham Institute of Art & Design to explore 2012/13 trend predictions from Mix Publications.
The results were creative, challenging and provocative - Birmingham City University’s Trend project for INTERIORS UK 2012 looks set to be the best yet. The partnership is in its fifth year and has resulted in over 500 students engaging with interiors industry experts and - as a result - gaining work placements, internships and employment.
Global Color Research and Mix Publications have given the talented students a sneak preview of their hot-off-the-press interiors industry trend predictions for Autumn/Winter 2012/13. The emerging young designers have now been set the difficult task of interpreting two of the key trends which are, according to Mix, on the horizon.
