ERCOL UNVEILS NEW PINTO BEDROOM COLLECTION
AND RIVA UPHOLSTERY RANGE AT INTERIORS UK 2012
Showcased alongside other ercol favourites on stand G50 in Hall 1
Known for combining beautiful design and excellent quality and functionality, British furniture designers and makers ercol are excited to be showcasing their 2012 ranges at Interiors UK at the Birmingham NEC from 22nd to 25th January. On show will be the brand new Pinto Bedroom Collection and Riva Upholstery Range. A new round table and display cabinet will be expanding the existing Pinto Dining Collection whilst other items on display will be the new Ravenna Two-Seater Sofa Recliner, the Bosco Dining and Bedroom Collections, the Originals Bar Stools, the Artisan Occasional Pieces and the Bergère Three-Seater Sofa.
NEW Pinto Bedroom Collection
The new Pinto Bedroom Collection complements the existing Pinto Dining Range and combines attractive matt lacquered oak tops with soft toned, painted elm to create a classic, clean-lined and versatile look which will suit any bedroom. The cabinets are traditionally constructed, with dovetail joints and deep drawers, and a choice of two different bed sizes ensures that customers will find the perfect item for their home. Available in the range are a double and king size bed, a storage bench, a bedside cabinet, a wide, tall and five drawer tall chest and a two and three drawer wardrobe.
NEW Riva Upholstery Range
The new Riva Upholstery Range has a classic / contemporary feel. The archetypal ercol feature of integral wooden legs is a distinctive touch, with attractive oak timber in a clear matt finish. This is the same timber and finish that is used in the Artisan Dining Collection, making Riva an ideal partner for a dining / living space. Available in the range are small, medium and large sofas and a chair.
Pinto Dining Collection
The Pinto Dining Collection has been thoughtfully designed to suit the requirements of modern living and dining, and provides all the essentials for practical storage and seating. A new display cabinet top and round table now join the existing range which includes a large extendable dining table, a casual spindle back dining chair, an upholstered padding dining chair, a small display cabinet and dresser top, a spacious two or three door sideboard, a coffee table and a lamp table. The striking contrast between the painted elm wood (available in a matt pebble, coffee or sage finish) and the beautiful natural grain of the oak creates a delicate and homely country look.
Bosco Dining Collection
From formal dining to an everyday casual meal, the Bosco dining range makes home entertaining a real pleasure. Solid modern lines are balanced with exquisitely crafted traditional finger joint detailing. The combination of solid oak and oak veneers finished with a matt lacquer, showing off the beauty of the timber, results in a richly textured and natural feel. Available in the range are a large extendable dining table or medium and large fixed topped tables, a slatted back or fully upholstered seat, a small or large sideboard, a coffee table, a lamp table, a narrow display cabinet and adjustable shelving, designed to suit varying room sizes.
Bosco Bedroom Collection
Complementing the Bosco Dining Collection is the Bosco Bedroom Collection, comprising of beds, wardrobes, generous storage chests and bedside cabinets. Choose from a double or kingsize bed with pre-sprung slats to ensure comfy slumber, a bedside cabinet, a five drawer wide chest, a six drawer tall wide chest, a six drawer tall chest and a two or three door wardrobe with bottom drawers for extra space. Made with the same oak and translucent ‘flat matt’ finish, Bosco works brilliantly as a complete collection or as stunning individual pieces that make a timeless part of any bedroom collection.
Ravenna Recliner Sofa
The Ravenna range offers a choice of over 100 soft, modern upholstery fabrics, combined with elegant and practical furniture design. The graceful sweeping curve of the arms and the solid ash legs offset the deep and comfortable cushioning to result in the most sumptuous relaxation and comfort possible. The new two-seater recliner sofa joins the existing recliner chair and is available in both manual and electric. Cleverly designed, it reclines from the front instead of the back and so can be positioned directly in front of a wall without the need for extra space.
Originals Bar Stools
This ergonomic stool made from elm and beech is an example of ercol’s celebrated classic mid-century Originals furniture. The design comes directly from the archive collection and is based on stools used by draughtsmen to sit at their drawing boards in the ercol design studio in the 1950s. Available in mandarin, navy blue, aqua, black, white and a clear wood finish.
Artisan Occasional Pieces
On display from the Artisan Collection will be the nest of tables, lamp table and coffee table. Designed by leading furniture designer James Ryan, the Artisan Collection combines the simple natural beauty of solid oak with graceful details. The occasional pieces co-ordinate with other dining and cabinet pieces in the range, enabling easy co-ordination throughout the home. All pieces in the range come with a unique, clear matt, wax feel finish.
Bergère Three-Seater Sofa
With over 100 fabrics to choose from and five leather colours, the Bergère range combines classic elegance in design with the flexibility required for a modern home. The woodwork is crafted from cane and comes in six different finishes with the option of upholstered sides, whilst deep and luxurious cushioning ensures superb comfort. On display will be the three-seater sofa, a statement piece in any living room.
Ercol looks forward to welcoming visitors on stand G50, Hall 1 at Interiors UK, Birmingham NEC from 22nd to 25th January 2012.
